Julia and Jacob loved to play in the shallow end of the pool. Julia got good at snorkeling, and eventually she was able to swim across the deep part of the pool by herself (under close supervision, of course). The deep end of the pool is 4 meters (12 feet) deep and the diving instructors who are based at the lodge use it for scuba diving lessons.
